Why Gymboree?

It all began in 1976 with a simple idea –

Stretch a child’s rapidly developing body & mind and you begin preparing him/her for life.

GYMBOREE is the pioneer and global leader in early childhood development programs for children ages newborn to five. Based at San Francisco USA, for over 35 years Gymboree has been conducting specialized parent-child fun & interactive classes, encouraging a child’s development and helping parents understand it better. Created by child development experts, the Gymboree Learning Program is designed to support the growth and development of the ‘whole child’ – Physical, Social/Emotional & Cognitive.

Today the Gymboree Program is enriching lives of children and families in over 35 countries across Africa, Americas, Asia, Australia and Europe.

'YES' environment

Playing and learning are inextricably linked. Gymboree provides a thoughtfully planned environment where children feel confident to explore, touch, run, jump and just have Fun. Our proprietary play equipment is custom designed specifically to meet the needs of 0 to 5 years old, creating a play floor for little children that is age and developmentally appropriate.

Why Gymboree came to India?

This story begins few years ago when we came home from work one day and saw our elder son Moksh, who was 2 years old at that time, typing the entire Alphabet on our home computer. We as typical Indian parents were thrilled and proud of how ‘intelligent’ our child was. But talking about the incident later with Moksh’s grandparents it dawned on us that we were confusing Moksh’s rote-learning of the Alphabet to fundamental intellectual development.
